This policy describes data handled by Swipefind. Retailers and affiliate networks have their own privacy policies.

What we store and why

An essential random cookie (sf_session) connects this browser to saved products, passes and shared collections. Product views, saving actions and retailer clicks support recommendations and service measurement. The app does not request your name, payment details or precise location. Amazon clicks are not associated with a visitor identifier or a personalized recommendation experiment.

Language and region preferences are stored in this browser. For abuse prevention, an IP address is hashed with a server-side secret and used for short-lived request counters. The app's counter table does not store raw IP addresses.

Retention

Action events and clicks are removed by scheduled maintenance after 90 days. Inactive profiles and shared links are removed after 180 days, and expired share links stop working. The cookie lasts 180 days. Commission and expense records are retained as transaction records without customer identity information.

External services

Loading provider-hosted photos sends ordinary web requests to that provider. Opening a retailer link may involve retailer or affiliate-network cookies and tracking. The hosting provider may process network and service logs under its own terms. Swipefind does not sell preference profiles.

Some paid links route through Sovrn Commerce. Opening a link may send connection and referral information to Sovrn and the retailer. Swipefind does not attach your saved list or preference profile to these links. Sovrn Privacy Policy

Export, deletion and sharing

Use Privacy on the discovery screen to download or delete your data. Revoke a shared link from your saved collection. Anyone with an active link can view that snapshot. If you lose the cookie, access to the anonymous profile cannot be restored; delete the profile before clearing the cookie if you want it removed immediately.
